The Officers
According to the by-laws, the following Class I members are elected every five years. The current term of the following officers ends in June 2028.

Thomas Xenopoulos Peccini ’88
President
As a student at ORR, Thomas first served as an officer of the AFS club and later as vice president of the ORR Class of 1988 in his sophomore year. He was elected class president his senior year. He led his class to complete the PAINTORR project, a community-led project to paint the school lockers red. He was instrumental in creating new traditions for ORR, like the senior promenade, a tradition that continues today. For the class’s 30th reunion in 2018, he spearheaded a fundraising effort to create the “‘88 Bulldog Pride Award” scholarship for the graduating classes of 2019-2023. Together with fellow classmates, he was one of the founders of the alumni association in 2023, incorporating the association in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, securing its non-profit status and authoring the association’s by-laws.
Thomas maintains strong ties to Mattapoisett although, since 2001, he resides in Cyprus, an EU member state. An educator, he serves as an advisor to the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus and as an officer of the Bureau of European and International Affairs. Despite this distance, he is proud to continue his commitment to ORR and alumni involvement made possible by the excellent cooperation of his fellow officers and alumni. Thomas is married and has four sons.

Michelle (Gayoski) Tackitt ’87
Vice President
As a Rochester student at ORR, Michelle served as class secretary in her junior and senior years and was on the Student Council. She was involved in planning and executing all high school events for the class of 1987.
Michelle was appointed as Director in 2024 by the president and served as Vice Chair of the Scholarship Committee for growing scholarship program. She later was appointed as its chair for 2024-2025, leading the committee to expand its work in choosing three recipients. She assumed her duties of her current office by order of the Executive Committee in November 2025, continuing to lead the Scholarship Committee.
Michelle works for Alkermes, Inc., a biotech company and is also a licensed clinical social worker.
She resides in Duxbury and is married with three children.
Lorraine Lorraine EJ Gallagher ‘90
Secretary
Lorraine brings a Rochester family legacy to the BPAA. Her father, Charlie Jefferson ’62, was a member of the first graduating class and inspiration for the naming of ORR’s mascot by his fierce style of play during the school’s first-ever football game versus Apponequet. Her mother, also an alumna of ORR, worked at Rochester Memorial and later at ORRHS until her retirement. During her time at ORR, Lorraine served first as Class President her sophomore year and later as Student Council President. A member of the Honor Society, she also played field hockey while also leading the school’s SADD chapter as president. After graduation, she earned her B.A. from Manhattanville University in 1994 and earned her JD from Pace University in 1999. Her leadership and volunteering experience at ORR later inspired Lorraine to serve on the Katonah Lewisboro School District Board of Education as its current President. A member of the Bedford Katonah Filed Hockey Club, she has also served as a New York State Section 1 Field Hockey Official.
After becoming partner in a law firm, Lorraine is the Associate General Counsel and Head of Regulatory Affairs/Product Safety for Nice-Pak Products, Inc. and Professional Disposables International, Inc. since 2014, working from New York and St. Louis. Lorraine resides in New York with her family but stills calls Rochester home.

Joyce (Senna) Messier ‘87
Treasurer
As a student at ORR hailing from Mattapoisett, Joyce served as class secretary for two years and later as class president for her junior and senior year. She also served as Student Council president her senior year. She was also active in sports and many clubs and activities. This commitment to her class and the ORR experience fostered in her a strong sense of giving back, planning her class reunions every five years. She was elected as the association’s first treasurer in 2023, guiding the association’s fundraising goals with her background and experience in finance.
Joyce works for Bank of America, which supports her volunteer efforts. Based on her volunteer hours, she has earned grant money from BoA which goes directly to the BPAA.
In her capacity as Treasurer, Joyce is responsible for the management of association resources and for financial reporting. She leads the Foundation Committee, advises the Grants Committee and collaborates with the Events Committee with respect to fundraising campaigns. Joyce resides in Attleboro. She has two daughters.

According to the by-laws, the following Class I members are appointed by the president and vice president and serve in the role at the pleasure of the officer who made the appointment.
Kendra (Findley) Resha ’92
Director
As a Mattapoisett student at ORR, Kendra served as class president all four years.
She was appointed as director in January 2024, responsible for managing the events surrounding alumni weekend, held annually around Homecoming. She was reappointed by Vice President Tackitt in November 2024, handling recruitment and outreach and advising the Events Committee.
